From vineyards in Sancerre, situated 120 miles south of Paris. The soil is a mixture of chalk, gravel, flint and marne. In terms of production, this area is the most important appellation in the upper Loire, covering over 5,000 acres.
100% Sauvignon Blanc. Pale gold with green hues. Grapefruit and gooseberries aromas. Fresh, dry, fruity, and well-balanced palate with a long finish. Served chilled, this wine is great with seafood, shellfish, or goat cheeses.
