A balanced, fresh expression of the traditional Chianti Classico style. An excellent partner with both cured and roasted red meat dishes as well as a delightful complement to pasta Bolognese.
95% Sangiovese, 5% Canaiolo and Colorino. Bottled by Le Corti S.p.A., with eight centuries of history in Florence and farmers in Villa Le Corti since 1427. The Sangiovese, Canaiolo, and Colorino are planted on 74 acres in the Chianti Classico area, San Casciano in Val di Pesa, which are full of Pliocene hills rich with river stones. The wine was fermented 20 days in open-air, stainless-steel vats using indigenous yeasts, then aged for 12 months in both cement tanks and French barriques.
