An especially warm year produced grapes that were juicier and fleshier than they normally harvest. This lovely chardonnay exhibits bright flavors of green apple coupled by pear and almond with a smooth and creamy finish.
Brothers Nello and Gino Pellegrini traveled to New York City from their native Tuscany in the early 1900s. By 1925 they became Sonoma County grape merchants, shipping grapes across the U.S. for home winemaking. After repeal of Prohibition, the brothers were granted the forth winegrowers license issued in California. Through the years the Pellegrini family continues producing some of the finest wines in the industry. The legacy continues into the fourth generation of the family.
