Follows through to a fruity medium-to full-bodied palate with ripe currant, brown spice, and vanilla bean flavors. Finishes with a breezy, crisp fade of tart currant and berry fruit accents by fruit and spicy wood tannins. Refreshing and quite food friendly, despite the alcohol.
