Ogier Cotes-du-Rhone Rouge Heritages 2010
Blend | France
Ogier has remained a family winery since 1859. Today it is the oldest and largest wine cellar in the historic community of Chateauneuf-du-Pape, which was the summer residence of the Popes from 1309 to 1378. Ogier utilizes special access to the best winegrowing estates to create this Cotes-du-Rhone cuvee called "Heritages," a tribute both to the winery owners and to the 2000-year history of winemaking in the region.
These Heritages des Caves des Papes wines express the power and personality of the finest Cotes-du-Rhone varietals, and the unique and uncompromising winemaking tradition of Ogier.
