Michel-Schlumberger Cabernet Sauvignon 2011
Made with Cabernet Sauvignon. Originally of French origins, this versatile grape produces exceptional wines around the globe. It's usually medium to full bodied with a fine structure that supports black and red fruit flavors with typical notes of olive, chili and herbs that add complexity. Expressing fundamental elements of style, this Cabernet is classic in its fruit, with distinct blueberry and blackberry impressions rounded out by spicy and earthy terroir. The scent of violets lifts the aroma while the snap of gooseberry anchors it. The balance between the different contributors to style—aromas of fruit and wood, of forest floor and aromatic spice, body and tannin—is elegant and very appealing.
