Michael David Winery Petite Petit 2016
Like elephants whose size is imposing, Petite Petit is large! A blend of Petite Sirah and Petit Verdot, offering a joyous explosion of color and fun! It reveals remarkable richness with a finish that is slightly dry and seems to linger. It is a substantial, dense, full-bodied, whopper style of wine loaded with pure black fruit and vanilla flavors that coat the palate 85% Petite Sirah, 15% Petit Verdot. The Phillips family has been farming since Andrew Harshner and his wife Lucille homesteaded 160 acres near the town of Lodi, following the Civil War in the 1860s. Originally devoted to vegetables, the Phillips' farm evolved to include many different fruits, including 15 different wine varietals that were shipped throughout the country during Prohibition with instructions on "how not to have the grapes turn into wine." These days, Michael and David Phillips represent the fifth generation of growers in Lodi with their 650 acres of premium wine grapes.
Due to restrictive state laws and regulations, we are prohibited to ship to the following states: Alabama, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Pensylvania, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin.
For the states of Louisiana and New Hampshire, we are planning to obtain permits to be able to ship to these states.
Every effort is made to display accurate vintages (the year the grapes were harvested) on our wines, however some vintages may not have been updated. You have the option to either allow or decline a vintage substitution if we do not have the listed vintage in stock.
