"Michael" and "David" are Michael and David Phillips, siblings whose family has cultivated fruits and vegetables in the Lodi locale since the 1850s and developed wine grapes for almost a century. Michael and David comprise the fifth era of grape cultivators in the Phillips family, with the sixth era currently joining the privately-owned company. The Phillips family prefers to stress the significance of value wines with one of a kind and fun labels.
