Pale, with green and yellow tints. Aromas of white blossom, lemons, and exotic fruits. Good balance between the freshness and roundness, with a great length.
Grenache Blanc, Vermentino, Ugni Blanc, and Roussanne blend. The Chapoutier family first settled in Tain l'Hermitage (Rhone) back in 1808. They purchased a winery owned by Comte Monier de la Sizeranne and over time acquired a number of excellent vineyards. In 1990, at the age of 26, Michel Chapoutier takes over his family's firm and in 1996, Michel decides to incorporate Braille on all his wine labels. This innovative approach is a tribute to Maurice Monier de la Sizeranne, original owner of the vineyard where Hermitage La Sizeranne wines are made and also inventor of the first version of abbreviated Braille. Today, M. Chapoutier is the only producer to own vineyards in all of the major Rhone appellations, making them the leading Rhone producer. M. Chapoutier's "My Reference"—Wines with a signature, the expression of M. Chapoutier taste. A will to avoid developing a "typical taste" or a set style. On the contrary, a permanent objective to work on differences in tastes, to bring out the specific tastes provided by each local terroir and wine. This is how we could sum up the Chapoutier Estate quest, which has been present in the Rhone Valley since 1808.
