Blend: 85% Dunnigan Hills Chardonnay, 14% Russian River ChardonnayProduction: 4,500 casesThis was a warmer season than normal on average which accelerated the early fruit ripening. A cool August allowed the grapes to hang on the vine well into September which produced incredible quality. The fruit was crushed, pressed and settled on the first day. On the second day the must was inoculated with yeast and placed in barrel for fermentation. After barrel fermentation, the wine was stirred regularly and allowed to age in French barrels for seven months. The wine was then racked off the lees, blended and bottled.
