Always shows an extraordinary nose of blueberry and blackcurrant, as well as garrigue "scrubland") aromas. A straightforward, mineral, concentrated mouth leads to a wonderful finish of cracked black pepper. It is a very crispy wine you may enjoy right now or forget in your cellar for a few years. It will still be full of surprises . . . This wine goes well with anything but especially shines when drunk with meat, even spicy ones!

50% Syrah, 50% Grenache. Mas des Bressades is considered by many as the top estate in Costieres de Nimes, located between the cities of Nimes and Avignon, 35 miles southwest of Chateauneuf-du-Pape on the western side of the Rhone. The 99-acre estate is now run by Cyril Mares, the owner and winemaker, and his lovely wife, Natalie Blanc, who owns the adjacent Mas Carlot-Chateau Paul Blanc estate. Their grapes benefit from the perfect climate, both sunny and windy, and and from the siliceous, stony soil of the Southern Rhone Valley. Cyril Mares specially selected the best grapes for Robert Kacher Selections. Made from Syrah and Grenache, this complex wine is produced in limited quantity.
