Lola Wines Russian River Valley Pinot Noir 2013
This wine is a blend of two different clones, from our best Russian River Valley vineyards, chosen for their flavors of spice and fruit. Deep garnet color, this wine has the aromas of fresh wild strawberry, cherry, red currant, flowers, hint of vanilla bean, and notes of cedar and cinnamon are added from the French Oak aging. It is rich on the palette, full with flavors echoing the fruity aromas. Refreshing acidity and very fine tannins reveal themselves in the wine’s long finish.
Established in 2008, by winemaker and owner Seth Cripe, LOLA was a dream that Seth developed as a busboy in a restaurant in his native Anna Maria Island in Florida. At the age of 17, Seth left home to pursue his dream. After 12 harvests at some of the worlds’ most renowned wineries, where he was involved in many aspects of winemaking and viticulture from farming to technology, Seth set out to make his own mark in creating the next great Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Dry Riesling from the top wine growing regions of coastal California.
