Liberty School Pinot Noir 2012
Displays a bright floral nose with aromas of fresh cut strawberries. Fruit-forward, yet elegant notes of strawberry and cherry flavors strike a wonderful chord with a clean minerality. With soft integrated tannins, this medium-bodied wine shows soft and supple flavors of allspice and cinnamon and culminates with a beautiful, long, and silky finish.
The Hope family arrived in Paso Robles in 1978 and planted both vineyards and apple orchards at the center of California's Central Coast. Today, the apple orchards are gone. The Hopes cultivate mature vineyards of the varieties best suited to their area and the terroir expresses itself in its unique regional character. Regardless of the varieties planted, the expression of Paso Robles is displayed in the glass with spice, licorice, and berry in the nose, soft textures and silky tannins on the palate. Hope Family Wines consists of five individual brands: Liberty School, Treana, Candor, Austin Hope, and Troublemaker. One-room school houses were once centers of knowledge and community in early rural America. In this spirit, Liberty School pays respect to the tradition of honest work, dedication, and perseverance. Liberty School has a long history of delivery quality wines with consistency and value.
