Canon La Gaffeliere sits on the southern slope of Saint-Emilion. Les Hauts is the estate's second wine, blended with 55% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. Very elegant, with notes of crushed stone, plum and wild berry.
Chateau Canon La Gaffeliere is a property in Saint-Emilion, producing a wine that is known for its elegance and finesse. In 2012, it was promoted to Premier Grand Cru Classe status. Canon La Gaffeliere began as two separate estates, Canon Boitard and La Gaffeliere Boitard, in the 19th Century. They were eventually combined, and bought by the Von Neipperg family in 1971.
