In founding Casa Lapostolle, Alexandra Marnier Lapostolle continues a unique family legacy of fine wine and liqueur production—for six generations her family has produced the world-renowned Grand Marnier liqueur. In 1994, she chose the pristine vineyards of Chile (in the town of Cunaco, right next to Santa Cruz) as the birthplace for Lapostolle. With a traditional, Chilean-hacienda style, it has a production capacity of 3,3500,000 liters in stainless steel and French oak tanks, and more than 3,500 French oak barrels. Today, Lapostolle owns 914 acres in three different vineyards, produces an annual total of 200,000 cases, and is distributed in more than 60 countries around the world. At Lapostolle, to capture the freshness of the fruit is their mission.
