Pale-straw color. Very expressive nose, perfectly typical of the grape varietal with ripe fruit aromas. On the palate, there is very good balance and freshness. Elegant and expressive with nice concentration.
100% Sauvignon. Founded in 1885 by Edouard Langlois and his wife, Jeanne Chateau, Langlois-Chateau is considered the premier winery of the Loire Valley. Now owned by Champagne Bollinger, the winery is best known for its elegant Cremant de Loire sparkling wines and for its still wines from the region, including Sancerre. This well-known appellation is the birth place of Sauvignon and also the best spot to grow it. The soil is mostly chalk with a hint of silex (flint).
