Azienda Agricola Lanciola is located just a few miles outside Florence in the rolling hills of Impruneta, in the Colli Fiorentini region. Immersed in the Tuscan countryside amidst olive groves, cypress trees, and vineyards, the estate totals around 190 acres - half of it is covered with vineyards with the remainder devoted to olive groves. In Medicean times the estate belonged to the noble Ricci family, who also produced wine in their day. Today, the Guarnieri family manages the estate. From the heart of Tuscany, Chianti Colli Fiorentini has all the passion of a great wine.
90% Sangiovese, 10% complementary varietals. Red color with slight shades of burgundy. Full, sweet, and fruity bouquet, with hints of earthy minerals combined with sensations of chocolate, spices, and leather. Medium body and well-structured tannins, with reasonably dense texture and balanced acidity. Good volume and long-lasting aftertaste with mineral and spicy touches. Suitable for accompanying white and red meat dishes with mushrooms, pate, and mature, dry cheeses.
