Ladybug Red Cuvee VI Old Vines Redwood Valley
A blend of Zinfandel, Carignane, Merlot & Cabernet. Bright berry fruits, floral and earthy aromas reveal flavors that mimic. Plum, red and black currants, cranberry, cherry and rose petals are balanced by a smooth background of pleasantly toasted oak with hints of cedar and spice and faint earthiness. This wine is off-dry with a crisp acidity, designed to pair a vast array of foods from your favorite barbeque dish to something with a little spicy zing, or to serve just as a tasty sipper.
Grapes are organically grown on head trained 50 year old vines on 4x14 spacing dry farmed. Cover crops and leaf pulling are practiced to promote optimal vineyard conditions. Ladybugs—not chemicals—are used to combat pests.
