KRIS Heart's flavor is as exciting and sensual as its label suggests, featuring perfumes of wild berries, dried fruit, and leather sustained by lively acidity and supple tannins. This youthful, exuberant Merlot, exploding with red berry fruit and cherry-like aromas, derives its delicious characteristics from the abundantly rich soil and ideal sun exposure of its vineyards.

Expert winemaker Franz Haas has combined modern technology and traditional winemaking artisty to handcraft an exquisite, contemporary Italian Merlot from the Sicily region. The area's long, sunny days and cool nights create a perfect environment for this classic varietal to reach its full potential. The timeless and inspiring Kris label emphasizes the role of the sun in ripening the grapes to perfection, the human hand in crafting the wine, and the lips that savor the wine. Each label was designed by contemporary Italian artist and Franz Haas family friend, Riccardo Schweizer (1925-2004).
