Barkan Classic Chardonnay is produced from grapes grown at the winery's vineyards in the center of Israel. The vines yield small crops and ripen early. Hand picked in small containers, the grapes are rushed to the winery to ensure maximum quality. The wine ferments slowly at cool temperatures and yields a wine with a rich nose of blueberries, guava, and pears. It is well structured, balanced and lingers in the mouth. Ideal with poultry and hard cheese. Learn More

The wine exhibits concentrated ripe black fruit with hints of chocolate, coffee, and nougat. The wine's rich tannins and crisp tartness reflect the region's cool climate. Learn More

A complex and intense wine resulted from aging in oak barrels for 18 months, which will continue to mature in suitable storage conditions. Learn More

Brilliant ruby hue, with traces of purple tint. The nose is dominated by deep oak resins, not at all sweet but rather elegantly spicy. As the minutes pass, a far greater complexity of intense black fruit is revealed, with hints of black cherries, blueberries, and blackcurrants as well as a touch of cloves, cigar box, and a refreshing streak of eucalyptus. As the wine opens, the oaky layers recede, allowing the abundant fruit to take center stage. After four hours from opening, an enchanting floral note appears, together with a hint of strawberry.
