Koine Aglianico IGT Puglia 2010

Koine is a product line owned by Casa Vinicola Botter, founded in 1928 by Carlo Botter. The company was born as a negotiant in Veneto selling wines in casks and demijohns to restaurants and small retailers. In the 50s they began to sell their wines in bottles, and in the 70s the company becomes a corporation (S.p.A.), with their entire capital controlled by the family. Today Botter is a market leader for the sale and export of Veneto and Italian wines, which accounts for 90% of their sales. They also make several labels, in addition to the Botter and Koine labels, such as Prosecco, Roccalana, Picco del Sole, and Lunate. Aglianico is a wine suitable for the most demanding meals.

Aglianico grapes. Deep ruby-red color tending towards amber with aging. Fresh, intense bouquet with a rich variety of ripe fruit giving a smooth and characteristic taste. It is particularly good with roasted pork, beef steaks, all game dishes, or excellent with mature hard cheeses.
