In 2000 the boutique Kadesh Barnea winery was born in the Negev desert, specializing in rich, full-bodied wines which showcase the distinctive, unique taste of Negev grapes. This Cabernet Sauvignon is full-bodied and spicy, with hints of black cherry and plum fruits, together with notes of green olives, herbs, and chocolate.
Forward fruit on the palate with a strong finish and well rounded mouth feel. This wine has been aged 18 months in 10 percent French and 90 percent American oak barrels. Deep garnet hue. Nose of tobacco, herbs and cherries. Best served with steaks, prime rib, rack of veal, lamb chops or pasta with a hearty beef Ragu.
