Justin Vineyards & Winery Justification 2010
Bright red cherry, blackcurrant, and a touch of strawberry jam framed by leather, cedar, and graphite with background spice of vanilla, cinnamon, and just a touch of white pepper. Finish is exceptionally balanced and complex with subtle, lingering fruit that makes you want another sip. A versatile pairing wine to a wide range of foods, JUSTIFICATION is perfect with a romantic dinner in front of a crackling fireplace or a summer's evening BBQ.
67% Cabernet Franc, 33% Merlot. Two things create a great wine, the best soil and the best climate. Justin Vineyards is blessed with both. Their soil was created five million years ago, when fossil-laden seabeds were uplifted to form Paso Robles' Santa Lucia Mountains. This land, rich in limestone, and high in alkalinity, combines with the unique microclimate to produce grapes that fully express their varietal character. Justin Vineyards employs artisanal techniques typically reserved for the world's most revered labels. Grapes are handpicked and sorted by the berry for consistent quality and flavor. Then the wine spends more than a year in small oak barrels to impart depth and character. This wine expresses the spirit of some right bank Bordeaux producers with its expression of tobacco, herbs and an elegant structure, but with a Paso Robles twist of full, bright fruit.
