Heritance Wines Sauvignon Blanc 2018

The 2012 Heritance Sauvignon Blanc Napa Valley is an assemblage of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon. It is pale in color with some green overtones. Intense aromas of citrus, apricot, fig, melon, and passion fruit are accompanied by delicate tropical elements. The palate is round, full, and well balanced. Typical Sauvignon Blanc varietal with just a bit of an underlying creamier character. The wine has good power with great complexity and a long finish.

93% Sauvignon Blanc, 7% Semillon. Heritance, an amalgam of "heritage" and "inheritance" showcases Winemaker Bernard Portet's signature winemaking style, which he describes as emphasizing "balance, elegance, and complexity." He draws upon his family legacy of winemaking excellence through 9 generations and across 4 continents to craft the wines of Heritance. Grapes from some of Napa Valley's finest vineyards contribute their unique character and then are artfully blended into a finished wine greater than the sum of its parts.
