Hall Wines Napa Valley Merlot 2014

The Merlot farmed at Hardester Ranch, with its gravelly hillside topography, offers weight, concentration and a rich chocolatey character. The 2011 Napa Valley Merlot is bright ruby in color, intricately laced with bright cherry, nutmeg and sweet spice on the nose. The palate is medium bodied, smooth and balanced with a perfume of raspberry, linalool and plum. Hints of cocoa, blueberry and mint round out the finish on this well-balanced wine.
