Haden Fig Pinot Noir 2013
Finishes juicy and elegant with a subtle meaty/savory note riding under the fresh berry fruit. Easy to drink right now and sure to improve for 3-4 years – if you can wait!
Everything to love about Oregon’s 2013 harvest is on display in this utterly delicious Pinot Noir from Evesham Wood’s Erin Nuccio. Bright, fresh, aromas of sweet cherry, strawberry, mineral and spice waft from the glass. Take a sip and you’ll feel a tingle of focused acidity on the tip of your tongue before sweet cherry, red berry, orange peel, and black tea flavors race across your palate. The interplay of the sweet fruit at the wine’s core and the surrounding bright pomegranate, orange zest, and spice accents is simply lovely and captivating.
