Herodion Cabernet Sauvignon is produced from grapes harvested from vineyards planted on the eastern slopes of the central hills in the Shomron, 2,296-2,953 feet above sea level. The wine is characterized by aromas of ripe black fruit, mint, and roasted nuts. It boasts a rich and long-lasting flavor. The wine was aged in oak barrels for 12 months. Under proper storage conditions, it will continue to improve in bottle for the next few years. The wine was bottled unfiltered and this limited series consists of 5,200 bottles.
Kosher. 92% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Petit Verdot. Thirty-five-hundred years ago, Israelite spies came back from their tour of the Promised Land bearing a bunch of grapes so big, it was carried by two. Today, Gvaot grows the smallest possible clusters, concentrating their color and flavor.
