Goivo Vinho Verde 2015
Distinguished in their richness, flavor and aroma. Vinho Verde is a light, refreshing wine with lots of flowers and green fruit notes. The wine is often lightly carbonated, but not enough that it could be called sparkling wine. Young and delicious shall be served with white fish, seafood or white meat.
This wine is made from grapes grown within the defined area traditionally used for Vinho Verde, particularly in the region Sousa. This truly genuine wine has all the characteristic qualities that characterize the region. The carbonation in the bottle caused by a process called malolactic fermentation, and while it is normally considered to be a defect in the wine Vinho Verde producers instead found that consumers appreciated it. Following the wine's refreshing acidity and minerality oceanic considered to be the ultimate partner to seafood.
