Giovanni Vincenzo Pannunzio Classic Cabernet Sauvignon 2010
Las Piedras Pura Vid is a family enterprise rooted in nature - they understand and respect it. Born under the vision of Giovanni Vincenzo Pannunzio who emigrated to Argentina from his native country of Italy in 1952. He belonged to a family of winemakers and began to cultivate his own vineyards in Barrancas, Maipu, and the first winegrowing region in Mendoza. He achieved a balanced composition between European tradition, handcrafted quality, and permanent technological innovation. Nowadays, his sons Jose and Luis Pannunzio are the ones who continue their romance with the desert, elaborating wines that transmit the character of its fruit. "It [Giovanni Vincenzo Pannunzio] was our father's name. Las Piedras was his vision, our dream. New land stolen from the desert, through underground springs at the foot of the Andes, where terroir is nature, authentic, millenary. Stone and sand. Pure vine."
Intensive ruby color. Aromas of blackberries, blackcurrant, and spices such as cloves, with distinctive notes of vanilla and chocolate. Round and balanced, with an agreeable finish.
