Foradori Teroldego Rotaliano 2006
Other Grape | Italy
The location of the Foradori vineyards is every bit as spectacular as the quality of their wines. All the vineyards sit just outside Trentino, in the side valley of Campo Rotaliano, with a striking view of the Dolomites.
The Granato, a selection of the estate's top fruit, is one of Italy's 50 best red wines every year and a splendid example of what the Teroldego variety can do in the right hands. It's aged in small casks for twelve to fifteen months, the bulk of which are new, slightly toasted oak. Firm acidity gives the wine elegance.
