Flying Cloud Zinfandel 2013

This Zinfandel was made using classic Bordeaux methods of production. This wine has a deep garnet color and is just transparent enough to see through. The nose offers an array of aromas reminiscent of cranberry, forest floor, allspice and cherries. It is quite full on the palate, rich and flavorful with lingering spicy cranberry flavors.

The grapes were sourced from exceptional vineyards within the Central Coast to produce a wine which represents our passion for elegant, flavorful and balanced wine. Classic methods of winemaking are used in making this wine: hand sorting clusters in the vineyard, long cool fermentations, state-of-the-art cellar equipment, and sging in French oak barrels. The name Flying Cloud pays tribute to the Eden Prairie airport, located in winemaker Stephen Ross Dooley's home state of Minnesota.
