Fleur du Cap Chenin Blanc 2017

This medium-bodied wine shows nice tropical fruit complemented with a touch of butterscotch from the wood. Clear and brilliant with hints of green. Aromas of green apples, guava and ripe melon rounded off with hints of oak vanilla. Hailed as one of South Africa's best valued Chenins, this subtly wooded wine positively bursts with ripe melon fruit and honey blossom aromas. Following nature's cues by nurturing every growing stage, Fleu du Cap allows the grapes to express their own inherent style in the cellar. This minimalist approach enables them to capture the rich, unbridled expression of true varietal character and flavors unique to the rich biodiversity of the Cape Floral Kingdom. Acknowledged as an award-winning producer of super- and ultra-premium South African wines, Fleur du Cap shares in nature's bounty by harvesting grapes from the finest vineyard sites in the Western Cape.
