Fitz Ritter Gewurztraminer Spatlese 2013
Gewuerztraminer | Germany
This is a sweeter, "typically Pfalz" Gewürztraminer, which has become one of Fitz-Ritter’s best selling wines in the United States. It is never over-the-top sweet; always subtle with a delightful lychee, rose-petal, and sweet honeydew melon palate with a delicate spiciness.
Located in the heart of the town of Bad Dürkheim, the Fitz-Ritter estate includes both the renowned VDP winery and the oldest Sekt (sparkling wine) production in the Pfalz. The extensive grounds with its neo-classical estate house, the historical gardens and the “RebArena” event location, lie surrounded by the “House Vineyard”, the Rittergarten and is a focal point in the local scene.
