Stylistically, Ex-Libris Cabernet Sauvignon leads with its beautiful, plummy/cassis fruit, but there is also a bit more restraint and structure (and Bordeaux spirit) than your typical domestic Cab. There is also earth, licorice, and just a gentle framing of wood to balance out the palate.
Washington Cabernet Sauvignon from the Champoux and Millbrandt Vineyards. On the nose, this delicious red shows deep cassis fruit and hints of cedar and spice. The palate is full, with broad concentrated fruit, and a Bordelaise structure that is often found in the Northwest's best Cabernets. The pedigree of these great vineyards comes through clearly in this superb value Cabernet.
