100% Tempranillo. Bottled by Bodegas y Vinyedos Robeal. D. Julio Minyon began his enthusiasm for the wine world in 1998 when he started planting 160.5 acres of vineyards, all tempranillo, in the municipal districts of Roa de Duero. In 2000, a winery was also constructed in Roa, at the heart of the Ribera del Duero denomination, entirely surrounded by its vineyard. It was not until 2001 that Julio founded Bodegas y Vinyedos Robeal, betting on a familar ideal based on the care of the vines and the wine. This philosophy has led to his wines being positioned among the most prestigious in the Ribera del Duero. The figure of the god Bacchus in the Roman mosaic of Bacchic allegories is important to Spain's Iberian peninsula. It is featured on the front of the Mosaico de Baco wines and serves as a reminder of the more than 2000-year-old relationship of these lands with Bodegas Robeal's vineyard.
