Domaine de Regusse Pinot Noir Vin de Pays des Alpes de Haute Provence 2012
Founded in 1970, Domaine de Regusse is located in the town of Pierrevert, in the area of Haute Provence, at the beginning of the Luberon mountain. The Provencal estate spreads over 741 acres, at an altitude of 1,476-1,640 feet, which was created by a family of winemakers practically from scratch around the Chateau de Regusse, an old school and country house, and the St. Margaret Chapel. Their vineyard covers over 642 acres planted to 20 different grape varieties, which allows a wide range of products. In 2003, Domaine de Regusse is sold by its founders to a group of investors, but the family spirit that unites the members of the domain still remains. Enjoy this Mediterranean Pinot Noir for its excellent richness and smoothness.
100% Pinot Noir. Full of jammy cherry, raspberry fruit, with a hint of vanilla. It will make a wonderful match with grilled leg of lamb, roasted pork loin with fruit chutney, or your favorite dish accompanied with porcini mushrooms.
