The Beaune 1st Cru Clos des Mouches and from a plot of 2.5 hectares planted with Pinot Noir of the renowned climate that owes its name to the bees ( "fly"). The vineyards are located on the slopes of Mont Saint-Désiré, are exposed to the southeast, bordering the Premiers Crus of Pommard . The basement is limestone and topped with a clay-loam soil . After the harvest, the grapes are not picked off tanked and they undergo a cold pre-fermentation followed by a long fermentation , all with temperature control. The aging lasts 16 months in oak barrels.
