Domaine A.F Gros Vosne-Romanee Aux Reas 2009

100% Pinot Noir. Aromas of cherry, strawberry, and forest undergrowth are highlighted. Fleshy and good persistence on the palate. Softness dominates, supported by enough subtle tannins and slightly marked with acidity. May be served after 4-8 years of aging with red meats, wild game, or game birds.

Domaine A.F Gros was established in 1988 when Jean and Jeanine Gros started to sell parts of the family estate (originally known as Domaine Gros-Renaudot, then as Domaine Louis Gros). At the same time, Anne-Francoise with her husband, Francois Parent, acquired an area in Flagey Echezeaux, and in 1995 they purchased a vineyard in Savigny-les-Beaune. In 1996 Jean and Jeanine Gros retired, so they divided the Jean Gros estate between their three children Michel, Bernard, and Anne-Francoise.
