Volnay Premier Cru is an appellation (AOC) for wines from Volnay in Cote de Beaune, Cote d'Or. This is one of the best known Volnay premiers crus. The vines lie on a south to southeast facing slope with a production area of 37 acres. The wine is ruby colored with very deep aromas, combining pedigree, nobility, power, and finesse. Its incomparable bouquet of red fruit and violets delights connoisseurs.

100% Pinot Noir. Estate bottled by Henri Delagrange et Fils. The Delagrange family's passion for quality and terroir goes back six generations, since 1570. Today, Didier Delagrange maintains about 34.6 acres of wines that represent a passion for quality and terroir that goes back six generations in the villages of Volnay, Pommard, Aloxe-Corton, Meursault and Hautes-Cotes de Beaune. He joined the family business in 1990 after completing his viticultural studies and worked with his parents until 2003. Since then, Didier along with his wife, Helene, has been in charge of the domain.
