Deau Cognac XO Artisan
It has a sublime dark-gold color with mahogany nuances. Develops a complex bouquet of dried fruits, walnuts, and rich, spicy aromas such as French vanilla and cinnamon. On the palate, there is a mellow, rich blend of dried fruits. The finish is exceptionally long with elegant spices, evoking the most-prestigious Havana cigars. Enjoy, responsibly, Deau Cognac either neat, on the rocks, or as a long drink with a splash of water, tonics, sodas, or fruit juices. Louys Deau started growing vine under the reign of the "Sun King," Louis XIV (1638-1715). One generation after another, his descendants became Artisan Cognac distillers. Still growers and distillers, the Deau family has specialized in creating exceptional cognacs by selecting on the best grapes. Today, Jean-Marie Deau is the Artisan master distiller of the family company and overlooks the creation of this extraordinary cognac. Deau XO is exclusively made from a selection of the best crus of the Cognac region: Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, Borderies, and Fins Bois. In their cellars, it is delicately aged in French oak barrels, slowly achieving the necessary ultimate maturity to reach a perfect balance.
