Conti Formentini Collio Pinot Grigio 2015
Pinot Grigio is the most widely planted grape in Collio (and Friuli), which is made here in a highly qualitative manner with added complexity and richness.
Terroir: Conti Formentini's Pinot Grigio is sourced from select, well- ventilated vineyards located between 650–820 feet in elevation mainly in the Commune of San Floriano, and a small percentage in the Communes of Oslavia e Zegla. The vines are spurred-cordon or Cappuccina trained on marl and sandstone soils. The average vine density is 1800 vines per acre and the average yield is production is 3.25 tons per acre.
