Intense cherry-red color with purple hues. An interesting blend of raspberries and blackberries, with notes of licorice, vanilla and spice. Meaty, rich and full of fruit with a touch of creamy oak. Great structure and length.
75% Tempranillo 25% Garnacha. Bottled by Bodegas Corcel. Their vineyards are located in Aldeanueva de Ebro, La Rioja, Spain. The main grape variety that is grown is the tempranillo, along with the garnacha, carignan, and graciano. Bodegas Corcel's crianzas are named for the wines that are sold in the market after its third year and have been in 225-liter oak barrels for at least 12 months. And their reserves are highly selected wines with a minimum aging of three years between the oak barrel and bottle, with at least one year in barrel.
