Chateau St. Jean Sonoma County Pinot Noir 2013
This Pinot Noir is youthful and inviting. Displays lovely aromas of raspberry, cherry, and plum as well as hints of rose and leather. The palate offers jammy fruit flavors and round tannins that give a creamy texture and a long, fruit-driven finish.
Chateau St. Jean, built in 1973 on a family's dream to create a world-class winery, makes its home in the heart of Sonoma — a region of dramatic diversity perfect for growing a wide variety of exceptional grapes. Ever since, they have been passionate about crafting balanced, elegant wines. The winemaking estate is located at the foot of Sugarloaf Ridge in the Sonoma Valley near Kenwood, California. In keeping with the chateau's architecture and sense of place, the wine-tasting and retail room is housed in an elegant garden structure surrounded on three sides by terraces and outdoor garden spaces.
