Chateau Messile-Aubert Montagne Saint Emilion 2007
Blend | France
A blend of 60% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. The nose is very broad, rich and expansive, emphasizing baking spices and plummy fruit. The initial palate is lush, echoing the baking spices on the nose. Very dry, medium long finish of oak and black cherry.
Chateau Messile-Aubert benefits from the expertise of the Aubert Family whose crowing glory is Chateau La Couspaude, Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classe. It is a wine of connoisseurs, grown on a terroir which is adjacent to the of St Emilion, thereby enjoying the power of that great terroir.
