Chateau Malbat Bordeaux 2012
Its ruby red color reflects the purple notes of its youth. The freshness of its flavor comes from the red and wild berries. The attack on the palate is direct and fruity with cherry notes, typical of the Merlot. With time, it gives way to blended tannins. Excellent value claret with a wonderfully soft texture and smooth tannins A delightful claret made predominantly from the merlot grape. A little cabernet in the blend adds extra structure, but the overriding flavor is of plummy merlot. It has a wonderfully soft texture with low levels of smooth tannins. You can't beat a good claret with your Sunday roast. Whether it be chicken, pork, lamb or beef this wine will provide plenty of enjoyment.
