Chateau Les Tuileries Entre-Deux-Mers 2005
Jean Michel Menguin's family have mastered this appellation for generatons, and have succeeded in producing one of the very best sauvignon, semillon, muscadelle blends in the region. Fish and white meat dishes will enhance the complez mineral flavors of this wine.
Les Tuileries is owned and managed by Chateau Roquefort, in Lugasson, in the area of Entre-Deux-Mers, “Between Two Seas” - the Garonne and the Dordogne. Rocquefort is a serious chateau of good repute, owned by Frédéric Bellanger. The estate was founded in 1976 by Jean, the father of Frédéric and now boasts about 100 hectares. Merlot is predominant on the calcareous table-land of Roquefort and its exposure is ideal on the hill of Castelviel. For the whites, Sauvignon, on the coolest terroir of Saint Brice, retains its full aromatic richness.
