Merlot and Cabernet Franc blend. Arnaud Delaire and Nicolas Baptiste, owners of the prestigious Chateau Pas de l'Ane since 2001, purchased old vines from Chateau Le Cros which is owned by the famous SCEA du Chateau Cros Figeac. The chateau is located, near their own Chateau Pas de l'Ane and a step away from Chateau Cheval Blanc, on a gravelly plateau in the northwest section of the Saint-Emilion appellation. Gifted with a fantastic terroir, Chateau Le Cros is reborn into a unique chateau and benefits from one of the best soils in France! The property is just 6.7 acres, the vines are an average of 30 years old, and only 660 cases are produced annually.
