2010 was an exceptional vintage, everyone knows. "Pure happiness for true fans of Bordeaux," said the prominent international critic René Gabriel, summing up quite well the general opinion. Obviously, it becomes increasingly difficult to find worthy ambassadors of this unforgettable year which is, to date, the last great vintage in Bordeaux.

The 'Château La Rose-Pourret 2010' is a blend of Merlot (75%) and Cabernet Franc (25%). The grapes come from a sandy clay soil rich in iron oxide. Yields are limited to 45 hl / ha. After manual harvest and a careful selection of fruits, they proceeded to a must fermentation in stainless steel tanks thermo. Raising 14 to 18 months in barrels which took place 30 to 50% were new. The bottling took place 20 to 24 months after the harvest.
