A blend of: 57% Cabernet Sauvignon and 43% Merlot.Aromas of smoke, herbs, red fruit and berries. Unusually powerful for a Graves. Full-bodied with good integrated tannin, wood, and red fruit flavors. Great with lamb, meats, and aged cheeses. Can age for 8 to 12 years. Decant before serving.
Chateau Haut Selve is the unique creation of a vineyard in Bordeaux area in the 20th century. Planted on an exceptional terroir, equivalent to those of the Grands Crus Classes, Chateau Haut Selve quickly became a key player in the Graves AOC. Recognized as being one of the 5 best properties in Graves since1996; Chateau Haut Selve won the “Trophee des Graves” competition in 2012. More recently in 2013, Haut Selve red 2010 has been magnificently awarded with 2 gold medals: Concours General Agricole de Paris and London International Challenge.
