Chateau De Barbe Blanche St Emilion 2005
Blend | France
Beautiful open and warm attack. full and concentrated wine. The tannins are silky and melted. The palate is balanced and structured. We find grilled toasted aromas, red fruits, vanilla and mocha.
It is remarkably balanced and rich, with a smooth silky texture and finish. Acquired half in 2000 by André Lurton, this wine is ideally located on a clay and limestone ridge of Lussac, facing the best slopes of St Emilion. Merlot is king, and regularly gives sweet wines and tasty.
